Foxes had a great time building their own birds nest!
Following an intense few weeks of revision and exams, Year 6 have been investigating 3D shapes in Mathematics. Always up for a challenge, the pupils have been busy forming polyhedrons from 2D nets. Some of our convoluted creations include: a truncated icosahedron, a small stellated dodecahedron and the seventh stellation of the icosahedron!

KS1 have been busy creating skylines in the style of Claude Monet this week. They studied his paintings carefully, looking closely at the way in which Monet paints, before attempting to use a similar dab and dash technique in their own paintings. We have been reallyimpressed with the results – what amazing artists!
The first gala of the year saw us compete against Richmond House. Richmond House got off with a strong start in the Backstroke races, however great performances were shown from Ishaan and Dominic. Year 5 and 6 have been busy in the fiction section of the school library, organising books and generally making the space more attractive as well as discovering some new authors and genres. We are particularly impressed with Mrs Parton’s sewing skills and the colourful bunting which has appeared!
