Extra Curricular Activities at Moorlands

We believe that out of school activities enhance the well rounded education of our pupils and therefore children are encouraged to take part in a wealth of extra curricular clubs, many of which are run by our specialist staff and are therefore free of charge. In addition we run residential school trips which include outdoor activities such as canoeing and abseiling as well as geography and history field trips and an overseas skiing trip.

Before and after school care is available with optional tea and our popular breakfast facility provides a sociable start to the day for many parents who enjoy a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich before work, with their children and school friends.

Clubs at Moorlands include:

  • Swimming
  • Rugby
  • Chess
  • Rounders
