Singing Stars' Success

Two singers from Moorlands School have been accepted into a prestigious national choir.  Eve (Y6) and Georgia (Y4) are both taught singing at the school by Christopher Sanderson and applied to join the National Children’s Choir of Great Britain this term.   

The choir accepts children from all over the country from Scotland, via Wales and down through England to the Channel Islands, so it is a great tribute to Moorlands’ music department, run by Vanessa Strachan, that two pupils have been accepted.  Georgia exclaimed, “I am so excited!  I really enjoyed the audition!”  Eve commented, “It was a lovely surprise when I got the letter!”
