About Moorlands
Moorlands provides a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment from the age of 2 to 13.
Moorlands nursery accepts girls and boys from the age of 2 to 4+. The recent Ofsted report cited the facilities and care of this early learning provision to be excellent all round.
The pre prep department provides learning for Reception to Year 2 (ages 4+ - 7). The focus is on the development of potential and providing a smooth transition from nursery or home to school. Children are able to learn in a happy, stable, structured and disciplined environment.
The main school accommodates children aged 8 - 13. Pupils follow an enriched and varied curriculum and receive specialist teaching in dedicated subject areas. Pupils enjoy the benefits of small class sizes, a stimulating and secure study environment with friendly and highly experienced staff.
Moorlands prepares pupils for a broad range of post 11 and 13 day and boarding schools throughout the region and country. Our pupils are highly successful in reaching their school destinations of their choice.
