Science
In Science pupils develop their knowledge and understanding of scientific ideas and processes. They are encouraged to develop skills of prediction, ask questions, and making sensible inferences and evaluations based on their first hand observations and experiences. Science lessons are taught in fully equipped laboratories. At KS1 and KS2 the curriculum follows a scheme of work which is topic based involving enquiry and investigative skills, life processes and living things, materials and their properties and physical properties. At KS3 the relevant Common Entrance syllabus is followed in Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
